The C4 Comprehensive Tester is a dedicated tool for measuring C4 humidity, C4 concentration, CO₂, and O₂. Its excellent performance stems from the use of top-tier foreign sensors: humidity is measured by a Vaisala (Finland) sensor, C4 and CO₂ by infrared sensors, and O₂ by an electrochemical sensor.
When needed, decomposition products can be added to form a C4 mixed gas comprehensive tester, with decomposition products detected by imported sensors. The instrument features a color LCD display for real-time parameter visualization, idiot-proof operation, massive information storage, a built-in rechargeable battery, and supports both AC and DC power.

Introduction
3M™ Novec™ 4710 Insulating Gas is a sustainable alternative to sulfur hexafluoride (SF6) for electrical equipment
insulation and arc quenching applications. It offers excellent dielectric properties, a wide range of operating
temperatures and significant reductions in environmental impacts compared to SF6. Novec 4710 gas is non-
flammable and has a wide safety margin for workers when used as designed for intended applications. This
SF6 alternative also has important environmental properties such as low global warming potential (GWP) when
mixed with inert gases and zero ozone depletion potential (ODP). Novec 4710 gas in pure form has a relative
dielectric strength two times greater than SF6 at a given pressure.
On December 20, 2022, 3M announced that it will cease production of 58 Per/polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) products, including perfluoroisobutyronitrile (C4F7N, 3M Novec 4710) and perfluoropentanone (C5F10, 3M Novec 5110), by the end of 2025 to reduce or eliminate the impact of PFAS on climate, environment, and ecological health.
